Region 3 Premier Leagues

Advancement to State Championships and Region Premier League (section G. of State League Rules)
Division 1
A. Region Premier League and State League teams, as identified through State League Play, will advance to the State Championships.
1. Seeding procedures for the State Championship tournament are described in the State Championship Seeding Procedures document found here
B. The winner of the TSSA D1 State Championship may advance to the Region III Southern Regional as the TN State Champion Representative.
Region Premier League
A. Tennessee State Soccer will use the following process to determine Tennessee team(s) that will be submitted to the Region 3 Premier League (R3PL) Selection Committee for their consideration into R3PL Competition.
Division 1
A. Region Premier League and State League teams, as identified through State League Play, will advance to the State Championships.

B. The winner of the TSSA D1 State Championship may advance to the Region III Southern Regional as the TN State Champion Representative.

Process
TSSA will submit TWO (2) teams for consideration in each age bracket. A third (3rd) or fourth (4th) team will be presented as an alternate or if RPL needs additional teams for that age. The selection process is as follows:
IF THEN
RPL Champ wins State RPL Champ represents TN as State Champ
Championship State Finalist will be second team to RPL
3rd and 4th place finishers will be submitted as
alternate/additional teams (RPL Discretion)
RPL Champ is State Finalist RPL Champ represents RPL as RPL Champ
State Champ will represent TN as State Champ.
3rd and 4th place finishers will be submitted as
alternate/additional teams (RPL Discretion)
RPL Champ is not in State Finals game State Champ will represent TN as State Champ
(RPL team must finish in top 3 to be State Finalist will represent TN as State Finalist
presented to RPL) 3rd and 4th place finishers will be submitted as
alternate/additional teams (RPL Discretion)
No RPL Champ in Age Division State Champ will represent TN as State Champ
(Note:This applies to rising U14's) State Finalist will be second team to RPL
3rd and 4th place finishers will be submitted as
alternate/additional teams (RPL Discretion)
The TSSA list of teams submitted to the R3PL Selection Committee is final and without Appeal.
According to R3PL Rules, the selection decision by the R3PL Committee is final (The R3PL rules state: "The Region III Premier League Committee shall have the final authority to accept teams...."). This decision does not come under the jurisdiction of TSSA.
