2001 ODP Academy Camp

Registration for the ODP Academy at The Baylor School in Chattanooga will open April 8th. We apologize for the delay in opening registration, as it was originally scheduled for April 1st. Because we are switching to a new registration system, we want to be sure everything is running smooth and efficiently before registration is open. The camp date is set for June 7-9. This is open to the first 72 boys and 72 girls that register and is ONLY for players with birth years 2001, no exceptions.

TN ODP Players to Participate in National Training Event

TSSA would like to congratulate Sam Colley (97), Katelyn Cooley (97), Chloe Maize (98), Mackenzie Peebles (98), Sydney Webber (98) and Karlie Paschall (99) for being selected to participate in the 2013 USYS National Training Event being held in Phoenix, Arizona next month!

Former TN ODP Player Wins NCAA National Championship With UNC

Kat Nigro was a 1993 TN ODP State Team player and also a Region Team Player. She just won the NCAA Division 1 National Championship with North Carolina. They defeated Stanford 1-0 to move into the finals in which they beat Penn State 4-1 for the title. This gives the tar Hills their 21st championship. Well done Kat!

Some of Kat Nigro other past accomplishments: ODP, National Teams & Club Soccer Member of U17 Women's National Team player pool 2008-09 • member of U15 Girls' National Team as a defender in 2008 • member of Region III ODP Team 2007-08, 2010-11 and Tennessee ODP Team 2007-10 • played with Brentwood Soccer Club 2009-11, FC Alliance 2007-08, KFC 2005-06 and Cookeville United (boys team) 2003-04 • has played in multiple camps, friendlies and internationals with U15 Team, Region III ODP squad and Tennessee ODP unit, competing in Florida, California, Sweden, Denmark, Costa Rica, South Korea and Canada • team captain of GNT U15s at Nike Friendlies in California • an All-Star at the 2008 Adidas ESP Camp • team captain and MVP in 2008 with Region III ODP team in Costa Rica • led Brentwood Soccer Club to four Division I state championships and three Region III Premier League titles.

ODP Boys Thanksgiving Interregional Event

The annual US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (US Youth Soccer ODP) Boys Thanksgiving Interregional event at Grande Sports World in Casa Grande, Ariz. The three-day event featured nearly 150 boys from the 1998 and 1999 age groups. At the event's conclusion, the coaching staffs selected the top 11 players for each age group. Congratulations to Jack Skahan from Tennessee for being included in this list.

2011-2012 Region III Pool

Congratulation to all participants that attended the Region III camp. This has been another successful year for our Tennessee ODP players. We had 12 girls and 36 boys make the Region III pool. Tennessee’s ODP program is a pathway for players seeking identification and training to be identified for the Tennessee state, Region III and US National team programs.
