"The National Youth License was the best coaching course I've ever been to. It is a must for anyone who coaches kids ages 3-99! It has really solidified my coaching style and I'm having a blast! Most importantly, the kids are too! Dr. Marvin Carson USSF 'C' License Tullahoma SC "The National Youth License hosted by the TN Youth Soccer Association in Franklin, TN has been a surprisingly enriching experience for me as a coach. The NYL has opened my eyes to different dynamics in coaching the youth, especially when it comes to the typical youth soccer player's motor and cognitive development. The level of the instructors was superb as well as the quality of the candidates, which created an environment where the debate among coaches and staff was the highlight of the course for me". Paulo Neto USSF 'A' License Region 2 Staff Head Men's Coach: University of the Cumberlands "The course and the coaching staff were excellent and I learned a lot that could be applied at the collegiate level as well. I recommend the NYL to anyone involved with coaching youth soccer as it’s truly the one of most important and essential soccer coaching licenses offered." Aston Rhoden USSF 'A' License Head Women's Coach: Middle Tennessee State University "This course was the first I've ever attended that explores the player's point of view. Not from their own soccer abilities, but from a cognitive and physical development point of view. Each player is in his/her own unique spot on the continuum, therefore each practice must be fun, and stretch each individual in new ways. The course truly exceeded my expectations!" D. Rudy Mansfield USSF 'C' License Coach/Player Development Mankato (Minnesota) United Soccer Club " I think the NYL is not only very useful for coaches working with young players, but also lays the foundation for coaches to understand effective learning concepts that are applicable to all ages." Ajit Korgaokar USSF 'A' License Region 3 Staff Brentwood SC "The insight I gained in how a player learns, develops, and grows both psychologically and physically has greatly enhanced my ability to coach youth soccer players of all ages and levels."
