Upgrade from State "D" to National "D"

Candidates who receive a State 'D' must have their license for a minimum of 6 months before they can attempt to upgrade to a National 'D' license. Those wanting to upgrade their license from the State 'D' to the National 'D' are not required to retake the entire course. Candidates wishing to upgrade will be required to retake the opening Friday night lecture on Methods of Coaching and the entire second weekend. The second weekend will consist of an oral exam, practice coaching and final field test.

Candidates will be evaluated and a recommendation will be submitted to Tom Condone, State Director of Coaching, for upgrade status.

There are no limitations placed on the amount of time a coach may retest, however there is a waiting period of six months between each retest attempt.
